{"id":230,"date":"2021-03-10T23:18:36","date_gmt":"2021-03-10T21:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gccdat.be\/main\/?p=230"},"modified":"2021-03-13T17:58:09","modified_gmt":"2021-03-13T15:58:09","slug":"sony-mavica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gccdat.be\/main\/2021\/03\/10\/sony-mavica\/","title":{"rendered":"Sony Mavica"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As a photography entousiast,  I aquired a Sony Mavica MVC-FD7 last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What the heck is a Sony Mavica you might ask?<\/strong><br><strong>Mavica<\/strong>&nbsp;(<em>Magnetic Video Camera<\/em>) was a brand of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sony\">Sony<\/a>&nbsp;cameras&nbsp;which used removable disks as the main recording medium.  <br>Mine is a MVC-FD7 from about 1997. And also the first digital cameras to adopt a 3.5&#8243; floppy disk as recording media. I found one on ebay for a bargin, and out of pure nostalgia I bid on it.<br><br>Want to see it in action?
